Dostie Homes
Dostie Homes is not a national production builder that arrived in Wildlight by way of a corporate expansion strategy. They are a third-generation, family-owned Jacksonville company with more than 60 years of history building homes in North Florida — founded in 1958 by J. Rene Dostie, carried forward by Richard R. Dostie, and now led by brothers Chris and Rick Dostie. That kind of continuity is rare in homebuilding, and it shows up in the way they work: with a stated emphasis on honesty, integrity, and the kind of craftsmanship that comes from a company that has its name on every door it has ever hung.
When Raydient Places + Properties selected Dostie Homes as Wildlight’s third residential builder in July 2018, the decision was a deliberate one. Dostie was chosen specifically to introduce townhomes to the community — a product type that didn’t yet exist at Wildlight — and to bring a local, experienced voice to a neighborhood that was still establishing its identity. The result was Founder’s Park, built to the standards of Wildlight’s Pattern Book and designed to hold its own against the architectural character of everything surrounding it.
Dostie Floor Plans
Dostie Homes introduced eight distinct floor plans in Founder’s Park, ranging from 1,365 to 2,015 square feet, with most homes offering three to four bedrooms and two to two-and-a-half bathrooms. The plans were designed for open, efficient living — layouts that feel larger than their square footage suggests, with kitchens and living areas that flow into one another and outdoor spaces that extend the usable footprint of the home.
